The Yavanu magazine is a student-led platform that gives writers and artists an opportunity to begin their publishing journey. We believe that everyone should have an equal opportunity to become a published author or artist.
The name “Yavanu” is derived from the Turkish word, Yazar, and the Gujarati word, Lakhvanu. Both words translate to “writing” or “scribe”, as our magazine is based primarily around literary material.
Our publishing, submissions, and access to issues are completely free because we want for everyone to able to submit to and read our magazine!
